If you have a painting business you should have a business plan. I firmly believe in having a living breathing business plan. This is not something that is created and put on a shelf somewhere. It’s something that will embody the vision of your company. It will outline the heart and soul of your company – what your values are, what’s most important to your business, what you want to accomplish financially and in the community. When I say living and breathing, I think it’s something that is never completed. You constantly reach out to the plan and work on improving it. The way to do that is set aside time quarterly and then annually where you can really focus, get back to your goals and make sure that you’re executing the vision you have for your business.
