Before you pull the trigger on any specific marketing campaign, there are three important things you want to look at. First is ease of implementation – how fast can you actually get it out the door? Next is anticipated cost – what is it going to cost for you, what is your anticipated return on investment? The third item is your ability to measure – is this something that is quantifiable and able to measure the results? Are you just putting branding in your local area and people notice your brand but don’t get the message? Can I quantify that? Can I measure this piece of the puzzle? Can I run a cross benefit analysis? Can I see what my return on investment, or ROI, is for this particular marketing campaign? If you can’t you should avoid it.
